Operation Brightside St. Louis

Last week, Operation Brightside St. Louis received a donation of 500,000 daffodils and tulips and needs volunteers to help get them planted. No green thumb required!

The bulbs will be planted along major highways in the area. The weather is forecasted to be in the 40s this weekend, so this is an ideal time to get the bulbs in the ground in preparation for spring.

Here are the available dates and times:
Friday, January 27; 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Friday, January 27; 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 28; 9:00 a.m. to Noon

Prior to planting each day, volunteers will meet at the Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park. Shuttles will begin taking volunteers to the planting location(s) at 8:45 a.m. and will continue until all volunteers have been placed. Return shuttles are scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m.
